when you have a pet one of the most inportent thing a animals/pet can give you is there love. you our there mama/daddy well there human mama or daddy and if the kitten lost there cat mom you can be a sub for her because they dont have a mom to look to for protection so if you have a kitten and the kitten doesent have a mama you should be there protecter and friend.
